We are staying in the first of many rather dated roadside hostels but it definitely adds to the adventure!
Yesterday we strolled down the waters edge to the trashy touristy land of Pier 39 and it was great!
Walking past a bike shop we decided the Golden Gate bridge needed to be attacked on bikes. Being travelers we went for the lowest rate possible and the shortest amount of time possible - 2 hours. So we cycled up the 5 miles to bridge, peddling as fast as we could. It felt like we were interval training!!
The views were insane and after seeing the picturesque bridge hundreds of times it was cool to actually be there!
We ended the day going for a casual stroll around San Fran, only for it to turn out not so casual when we hit the huge hills that the city is famous for!
