Road Trip

Being the non stop type of girls we were ready and raring to go early, on the morning of our big drive to San Diego, just with 1 small, tiny, weeny problem... we still didn't have a hire car.
We had trawled the internet searching for good deals, but it's nearly impossible once you add on the under 25 sur charge.
Finally we found something which sounded awesome. Turning up we quietly asked the taxi man to wait until we had something sorted just in case we needed a quick get away... but it all ran smoothly and we have hired this bad boy - Bert

In fact the concept of this little company is brilliant, it's called flight car and rents out peoples cars as they go on holiday.

Feeling rather chuffed we set off for the open road!

We stuck to highway 5 all the way. 9 hours later we had arrived in sunny San Diego!
We research the best beach around, which happened to be on a little island connect to San Diego called Coronado, and spent the next day uncurling our limbs from the drive.

Next stop Newport Beach, for a spot of very amateur surfing! In my next life I will learn to be a pro but for now we bumbled along in the white bubbles laughing our heads off as we attempted to balance on our foam boards and not swallow too much sea water!
