Surely visiting the Hollywood sign is on most peoples bucket list... it was certainly on mine. So I jumped at the opportunity to run the trail which leads right up to it.
We set of early to avoid as much as the mid day heat as possible, it was still roasting!
Im not going to lie it was pretty daunting seeing it way off in the distance half way up a mountain!
This is not the sign I wanted to see at 7 o'clock in the morning!!
But the view was absolutely worth it. It is a fantastic way to see LA and get a feel of the sprawling city.
We finally made it, looking down over LA with the sign right in front of us! It felt like we were on top of the world.
Meet my trusty guide, luckily he has a much better sense of direction than I do, so I kept quite and followed him down.
Not before taking a few 'Where Centigrade Have Been' snaps!
Now to tick the Hollywood sign off the Bucket list!! CHECKKK
